Member
Prices: ASME member prices (where stated) will apply to the
purchase of copies of any book or one subscription item for a member's
personal use only. These orders must show your name and membership
number with shipment to your personal attention.
Bulk Discounts: When any one individual title is ordered
in bulk and shipped to a single location, the following applies:

Book Dealer Discounts: Recognized book dealers and subsription
agencies are generally entitled to a discount. To open an account,
please call ASME Information Central at 1-800-THE-ASME (1-800-843-2763).
Payment Information: Prepaid U.S. orders for $250 or less
will incur handling charges, but no shipping charges.
All others will incur actual shipping charges plus handling charges.
International orders will also incur insurance charges (2% of merchandise
total). On-line orders require a credit card.
U.S. and Canadian
Orders: Make checks payable to ASME. ASME also accepts
MasterCard, VISA, American Express, Discover, Euro Card or Diners
Club.
-California, Georgia, Illinois, Texas and Washington, D.C.
purchasers must add sales tax.
-Canadian purchasers 7% GST, or furnish exemption
certificate.
Payment Terms: Net 30 days Most shipments within the
US are made by United Parcel Service. We will be happy to
accommodate other methods of shipment upon request.

checks written in some international currencies. Please contact ASME

Return
Policy
To ensure prompt and proper credit for products in saleable condition:
(1) Request a return authorization from ASME Information Central within
90 days of invoice date. An Information Central representative willl
provide a return authorization number and shipping instructions to
our NJ address.
(2)
Please enclose a copy of the packing list with the product you are
returning if possible. If not, please enclose your reference number,
name, company, telephone or fax number and the reason you are returning
the product.
(3)
All sales on videotape and software products are final. Returns
are limited to the replacement of defective product.
Claims
Claims for non-receipt of order will be honored within three months
of date of shipment on U.S. and Canadian orders, six months on international
orders. Please refer to original reference number when making inquiries.
